BARCELONA (ES) - In sector 22@, near Nouvel's Torre Agbar for which they acted as local project architect, b720 Arquitectos have realized an office building for Spanish telco Indra. Ten floors of office space with a diamond-shaped plan hover above a dark podium. Three of the four facades are encased in a stainless steel mesh composed of 90 × 90 centimetre panels. One-quarter of the panels have a convex bulge, which lends the facade, and so also the building, a certain vitality without diminishing the effectiveness of the stainless steel screen as a permanent sun blind that keeps out 50% of the sun's rays.
