BulgariaMilena Filcheva (1980) was born in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria. She studied architecture at the University for Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy in Sofia, Bulgaria (UASEG). DuringĀ 2003-2004 she was an Erasmus student at the HAW Hamburg. She received masters degree in architecture from the UASEG in 2005. After graduation, she worked for four years at the architectural practice Plus Architecture (plus-architecture.net) in Sofia. Since 2006, she has been a correspondent for A10 magazine, and since 2009, a partner at the newly founded architecture practice B12 (bureau XII).
