Indira van 't Klooster
Indira van 't Klooster (1971) is editor-in-chief of A10 new European architecture since 2012. Educated as an architectural historian, she has worked for various architectural organizations, such as the Amsterdam Architecture Centre, the Amsterdam Academy of Architecture and Architectuur Lokaal (a Dutch foundation promoting good clientship in competitions and European procurement procedures), as well as in architecture policy on local, regional and national levels.
Besides heading the editorial team of A10, she has lectured and/or moderated at many architectural events throughout Europe. She has also participated in international juries like the Scottish Doolan Award, the Hungarian Media Prize of Architecture, AIAC's 'Young Italian Architects', the Young Estonian Architect Award, and the Rotterdam Maaskant Prize. In 2013, Reactivate! Innovators of Dutch Architecture, about how Dutch architects are stretching the boundaries of the profession in times of change, was launched. She is currently working on Reactivate! Innovators of European Architecture.
