ZURICH (CH) - Two houses dating from the mid-1920s were renovated by Daniel Kobel and Blue Architects in 2006 without sacrificing too much of their original character. The four friends, who go by the name Zimmer 4, converted a former ground-floor butcher shop into a café-bar and the upstairs dwelling into a small guest house with five bedrooms and a shared bathroom. Nowadays Kafischnaps, as it is known, is a favourite haunt of travellers to Zurich.
