Million Donkey Hotel

PRATA SANNITA (IT) - The Million Donkey Hotel is located north of Naples in the mountain village of Prata Sannita. It consists of three rooms and one bathroom. With the help of the local population, the Viennese architects, feld72, turned an abandoned ruin into this great little hotel. The name Million Donkey Hotel honours the many 'work horses' whose labour made the project possible in the first place. The hotel is operated by the villagers. Particularly spectacular is the 'letto volante' room. Reclining in a wire mesh cage, guests can glide out of the building on the 'flying bed' and sleep under the open sky.
