Kindergarten, Terenten, South Tyrol (2010)

With its gable roofs and a white concrete facade in which the formwork structure is only visible upon closer inspection, the kindergarten picks up typical local architectural elements and reinterprets them in up-to-date ways. The site’s topography is ingeniously interwoven with the tripartite body of the building.

The PublicTrailers© comprise several different models of bicycle trailers. This tool, developed by feld72, makes it possible to respond flexibly to various urban situations and to temporarily expand the use of various public spaces.

In collaboration with AllesWirdGut and FCP. The Land of Lower Austria's administration building in Krems picks up the town's historical structure of small units by means of bridges, courtyards and passageways. At the same time, it is currently the biggest office building in Austria to meet passive house standards.

The architects have made use of the local topography to create an extremely wide variety of low-cost housing in eight separate buildings containing a total of 25 residential units. The traffic-restricted street down the middle turns the development into a little village.
